La canción se titula ‘the cure’ y todos hemos pensado lo mismo al leerlo: ya son demasiadas referencias a la banda de Robert Smith. </p>
<p>Se sabe que la autora de ‘GUTS’ es una gran fan de The Cure, refiriéndose a Smith como su «héroe personal» y llegando a cantar con él en el <a href="https://jenesaispop.com/2025/06/30/502274/momentos-glastonbury-2025/" rel="noopener" target="_blank">escenario de Glastonbury</a> el año pasado. Juntos interpretaron ‘Friday I’m In Love’ y ‘Just Like Heaven’. A su vez, es justamente esta canción la que la artista mencionaba en <a href="https://jenesaispop.com/2026/04/17/521300/rodrigo-drop-dead-critica/" rel="noopener" target="_blank">‘drop dead’</a>, el primer single de su álbum. </p>
<p>Olivia describe ‘the cure’ como, no solo una de las mejores canciones que ha escrito nunca, sino como su favorita del disco. Habrá que esperar hasta el viernes para saber si continuarán las referencias a la banda británica, o si el guiño llega hasta el título. </p>
